Dr. R. Raveendran started Udhi Eye Clinic in 1986 which has boomed into Udhi Eye Hospitals in 2003 and has been the Management Trustee of Udhi Eye Hospitals till date.

Ophthalmologist
Dr. R. Raveendran completed his MBBS in 1977 from Madurai Medical College and further did D.O and M.S Ophthalmology from Madurai Kamaraj University. He worked as a consultant in Aravind Eye Hospital, Voluntary Health Services ,Devaki Hospitals, St. Isabels Hospitals & Fortis Malar Hospitals. He started Udhi Eye Clinic in 1986 which has boomed into Udhi Eye Hospitals in 2003 and has been the Management Trustee of Udhi Eye Hospitals till date. Dr. R. Raveendran is a visionary and under his able leadership Udhi Eye Hospitals has achieved NABH accreditation in 2012 being the first Small Healthcare Organization (SHCO) to get NABH accredited in Tamil Nadu. Dr. R. Raveendran has been practicing as an Ophthalmologist for four (4) decades now and one of the earliest ophthalmic surgeons to start phaco emulsification surgery for cataract in India.

Dr. Sherren Raveendran
Dr. Sherren raveendran completed his MBBS from Sri Ramachandra medical college in 2004. He pursued his Diplomate in National board ( DNB ) in ophthalmology from the reputed Sankara Nethralaya eye hospital from 2005 to 2008. He worked as an ophthalmic surgeon with primary interest in cataract surgery, medical and surgical management of glaucoma and medical retina from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014 he pursued fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery from Sankara Nethralaya chennai. From 2014 till present he has worked in reputed centres in India and United Arab emirates as cataract, refractive and retinal surgeon. He has performed live cataract surgeries at conferences in India and in Brazil.
Dr. Uma Devi
Dr. Uma Devi C (DNB. FMRF.) has completed her undergraduate studies at Madurai Medical College. After completing her DNB in Ophthalmology , she went on to pursue her long term fellowship of 2 years in the field of oculoplasty at the prestigious Sankara Netralaya eye hospital in Chennai. She is well versed at managing lid malpositions, traumatic injuries of the eye, orbital disorders and cosmetic enhancement procedures of the eye.
Dr. Lakshmi
Dr A Lakshmi, completed her MBBS from JJM Medical College Davangere in 2010, and her DNB OPHTHALMOLOGY at UDHI EYE HOSPITALS, CHENNAI IN 2014. She is a consultant Medical Retina Specialist at Udhi Eye Hospital since then.
Dr. Anbarasi
Dr Anbarasi completed her MBBS from Sri Ramachandra medical college in 2008. She finished Diplomate in National board (DNB) in ophthalmology from Udhi eye hospital in 2012 . Later pursued fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus from 2013 to 2015 from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. From 2015 till now, having worked in reputed centres in tamil nadu as cataract as well as pediatric and squint surgeon, she is well versed in treating all the eye care needs of children with patience and precision.
Dr. Allen S Raveendran
Dr. Allen S Raveendran, consultant Ophthalmologist, Quality assurance officer and NABH coordinator at Udhi Eye hospitals, has completed his MBBS and MS Ophthalmology at the prestigious Sri Ramachandra university, Chennai. He went on to pursue his fellowship in recent advances in Ocular surgery and is well versed in handling advanced/complicated cases of cataract as well as surgical and medical treatment of glaucoma. He has made his mark in the international and national level conferences with his presentations at the World Ohthalmology Congress at Mexico, All India Opthalmology conference in Mumbai, and state level conferences.
